1. Birkerts is saying that technology will overrun use basically. That we have so much of it and that eventually will over take things. For example in school everybody will be so focused on technology that one will forget art or forget the library. That the library will become extinct.
2. Birkerts object to writing in which resembles MTV is to reach the age we are today. He wants everyone to understand what he is saying. Also to show that the age is conform to this language and that people are being consumed with technology, like television and it's shows.
3. The library of Congress is a place where America holds its information in books also is the largest library and is where research is done. I feel as though people don't use libraries in general anymore because of the internet. Everything is in your fingertips at a computer so why spend all the time to get the book and research it that way if its just a click away. The library will surely disappear at the rate we are going, Birkerts says it will be a museum. I feel as though the library does have a place but the information the library holds could be universal in that computer can also have it.
