This journal is in response to "Buying Happiness" on pg. 135 - 140
Answer:
1. The author gives great facts on how we as humans spend and work more but are experiencing life less, less vacation, in which is leading to a dead end path. Also that the more we spend the more in debt we are and that we are more depressed, which only shows that one cannot buy happiness.
1. Cars, Shoes, Traveling, Playing sports, Shopping, playing video games, hanging out with friends, and eating all make me happy. These all but hanging out with friends require money to do whatever or buy whatever it is.
1. The depressing really of materialism is so right. We put so much on what you drive, wear, and live in. We as humans should get back to basics like our fathers before us. I feel as though we should go into nature and appreciate it, Appreciate what we buy more, and not buy as much and just experience life. We get so wrapped up in material things we forget the best things in life, like family and friends.
